Transitional Housing
Our transitional housing program offers a safe, stable home for women rebuilding their lives after incarceration, trafficking or abusive relationships. We believe that having a secure place to live is the foundation for long term success.
What We Provide:
- Safe and Dignified Accommodation: Fully furnished rooms in shared housing where you can rest, heal and focus on your future.
- Community and Support: Live alongside other women who understand your journey. Our staff and volunteers create a trauma‑informed environment of respect and mutual support.
- Life Skills and Independence: Through workshops and mentoring you will learn budgeting, cooking, self care, communication and other skills to prepare for independent living.
- Case Management: Your case manager will help you set goals, connect you with employment opportunities, education and healthcare resources. They can help you navigate legal or custody issues.
- Accountability: Residents agree to a code of conduct that promotes safety and sobriety.
Who Is Eligible?
Applicants must identify as female or non‑binary, be at least 18 years old and be transitioning from incarceration, homelessness, domestic violence or trafficking. We cannot accommodate active substance abuse at this time; sobriety is required for entry.
Length of Stay
The typical stay is 6–12 months, during which residents focus on stabilizing their lives, securing employment or education, and saving for permanent housing. Extensions may be granted based on individual circumstances.
