Woo Girls Work is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors and supported by a passionate leadership team. Together, they provide strategic vision, fiduciary oversight, and day‑to‑day management to ensure we fulfill our mission of empowering women rebuilding their lives.
Board of Directors
- Peggy Albers – Founder & Board President. Peggy founded Woo Girls Work and continues to provide vision, leadership, and mentorship to the organization.
- Mary Albers – Board Chair. Mary lends her experience as a communications professional and advocates for trauma‑informed outreach.
- Terri Cooper – Board Member. Terri brings financial expertise from Patriot’s Bank and supports fiduciary stewardship.
Leadership Team
- Kiedra Phelps – Administrator. Kiedra oversees operations and program coordination to ensure that our services are delivered effectively and compassionately.
- Paula Woods – Charitable Giving Coordinator. Paula works hand in hand with women in need to ensure we succeed in our mission.
- Vicki Sucher – Program Liaison. Vicki builds partnerships and advocates for the women we serve, helping them navigate resources and opportunities. Vicki also keeps the local water department in check, she's smooth.
- Shelley Moore – Reentry Advisor. A seasoned professional with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Shelley provides guidance on reentry strategies and compliance.
- Reba Slavens – Director of Marketing & Grants. Reba leads our marketing efforts, grant writing, and ensures our stories are told, and resources secured.
